We both grew up in Lofoten and have been on many trips along the coast of Norway and especially in the northern parts of the country.
In a very young age we joined the local boy scouts in Svolvær. Here we learned the basic principles of how to thrive in our raw nature. We have always found a way to challenge the surroundings, like that time we made ice axes out of local birch and climbed a mountain in a winter storm. We were 10 and 12 years old. As adults we were educated in outdoor survival and living.
